TEM takes a conservative approach to the management of asbestos materials, fully understanding that many asbestos materials can be managed in place until they must be removed prior to renovation or demolition of a building.
Asbestos Building Inspections
TEM's staff of licensed asbestos building inspectors stand ready to assist our clients on any size project from targeted sampling for a proposed renovation or repair project, to a comprehensive asbestos survey of commercial, industrial, institutional or residential building.
Our full service asbestos laboratory is equipped to analyze any type of sample ranging from bulk samples of building materials to complex samples like soil and sand.
Asbestos Project Design
TEM can manage the design and bidding process for any size asbestos abatement project. We work with building owners, architects and engineers to develop practical, time sensitive project designs that dovetail into the general construction process.
We can also assist building owners with the "public" bidding process that many building owners must use by preparing bidding documents, holding pre-bid meetings with prospective contractors, reviewing the bids submitted by contractors, providing a lowest responsible bidder recommendation to the Owner, and if necessary prepare contract documents.
Asbestos Project Management
Once a project is designed and ready to be executed, TEM can provide Third Party Monitoring to document that the asbestos abatement project was performed as required. This Third Party Monitoring consists of on-site observation, air monitoring to document conditions during the abatement process and collection and analysis of final clearance air samples.
