Industrial Hygiene (IH) is the "science and art of the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, prevention, and control" of the health and safety of individuals in the workplace and community. Our Technical Director is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), a designation respected in the field of environmental sciences as a sign of experience, excellence and integrity.

Worker exposure studies are the heart of industrial hygiene. Exposure to chemicals, noise, vibration, biohazards and other hazardous agents are controlled through effective work practices, engineering controls and as a last resort personal protective equipment (PPE).

TEM Environmental has conducted employee exposure assessments for a wide variety of chemicals, noise and biohazards. Assessments have been conducted in industrial settings, hospitals, educational institutions and office buildings.
